A short history of Felix:- Felix the Cat is one of our oldest and most recognizable cartoon characters. He was the first animated character popular enough to draw a (silent) movie audience.
- Australian Pat Sullivan, owner of the Felix character, claimed during his lifetime to be the creator; but during recent decades American animator Otto Messmer, Sullivan's lead animator, has normally been given credit.
- In the 1920’s, Felix:
Was in his own comic strip
Adorned merchandise from toys and postcards to ceramics
Was the model for stuffed toys which may still be found
Inspired Paul Whiteman's Jazz band to play 1923's "Felix Kept on Walking”
In 1929, Sullivan decided to make Felix sound cartoons, but they failed and ended in 1930.
- In 1953, he began airing on American TV and you may be able to find him on cable today. Some changes included Felix comic strip’s redesign of a "long-legged" Felix in a new animated series for TV, and Felix having a "Magic Bag of Tricks". You will find references to the magic tricks throughout the internet.
- He has since starred in other television programs and in two feature films.

I just picked up some of the Novus Quilt Small Film for the MINI PAK’R machine and started doing my basic research.
This system is kind of expensive for the basic machines, but looks like a great deal for anyone selling in volume. Expecially folks selling anything breakable.
I'll be listing the film soon on eBay Jim's General Store.
